Overview of exam results
GCSE results
Provisional 2024 results are as follows:
- 66% of students gained a grade 4 or higher in both English and Maths, with 44% gaining a 5 or higher.
- In English 79% of students gained a 4 or higher, with 62% at 5+.
- In Maths 71% of students gained a 4 or higher, with 50% at 5+.
- 59% of students were entered for the EBacc, with an APS of 4.50 and 38% of students achieving that EBacc at grade 4+.
Our 2023 results are as follows:
- Progress 8 score of 0.23.
- Attainment 8 score of 47.5
- 68% of students gained a grade 4 or higher in both English and Maths, with 42% gaining a 5 or higher.
- In English 80% of students gained a 4 or higher, with 63% at 5+.
- In Maths 73% of students gained a 4 or higher, with 47% at 5+.
- 54% of students were entered for the EBacc, with an APS of 4.40 and 35% of students achieving the EBacc at grade 4+.
- 98% of students stayed in education or entered employment
A level results
Provisional 2024 results are as follows:
- Average A Level grade C
- 11% of A Level grades at A*A
- 33% of grades at A*B
- 62% of grades at A*C
Our results for 2023 were:
- Average A Level grade was C
- 98% of A Level students completed their main study programme.
- 93% of leavers progressed to education or employment (2021 leavers)
- 76% of leavers progressed to higher education or training (2020 leavers)
