We are delighted to invite you to our Year 6 Open Evening, taking place on:

Location: St Ivo Academy

This evening is a fantastic opportunity for Year 6 students and their families to explore life at St Ivo Academy as they prepare for the transition to secondary school. We strongly encourage Year 6 pupils to attend with their parents/carers so they can experience the school for themselves and take part in the activities on offer.

What to Expect

During the evening, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Visit all curriculum subject areas across the school
  • Take part in a range of interactive activities and demonstrations
  • Meet teachers and subject specialists
  • Speak with current students about life at St Ivo Academy
  • Learn more about our curriculum, enrichment opportunities and pastoral support
  • Attend a presentation from the Principal (times to be confirmed)

You are very welcome to bring younger or older siblings along with you.

Finding Your Way Around

On arrival, you will receive a map highlighting the locations of each subject area and key facilities. Student ambassadors will be available throughout the evening to help guide you around the school and answer any questions if you need assistance.

Parking Information

Parking will be available at:

  • High Leys Entrance Car Park
  • Burgess Hall Car Park

Please allow extra time for parking and arrival, as this is a popular event.

This year, we are trialling a new RSVP platform for school events. While completing the RSVP form is not required to attend, we would greatly appreciate it if you could register your attendance, as this helps us plan and organise the evening effectively. You can also find our FAQs on the website.

Unable to Attend?

We appreciate that the date of our Open Evening may not be suitable for everyone. To ensure all prospective families have the opportunity to visit the school, we are also offering bookable small-group tours led by members of our Senior Leadership Team.

These tours will provide an opportunity to explore the school, see our facilities and ask any questions you may have in a smaller setting.
