The St Ivo Academy is an inclusive 11-18 academy which has been privileged to serve the community of St Ives and its surrounding area since 1955.
Rated “good” in every Ofsted category, inspectors who visited the school in April 2024 highlighted the recent ”positive changes” that many pupils credit with making school a “better place”.
Our recent inspection found that students “have positive relationships with their teachers” and know that teachers “want them to achieve their best”. Pupils work hard in lessons and listen well. Pupils are “polite and respectful” and place “high value on each other’s individuality”. Pupils at St Ivo also behave well, with inspectors observing “lessons are calm, and pupils focus their attention to the work set”. You can read the full inspection report here.
