Trips

Ski trip 2027

We will be launching our ski trip for February half term 2027 in the next week or two. Please look out for details and note that the deposit is likely to be around £350. Our annual ski trip is always popular with both experienced skiers and beginners who want to try something new and different! The visit will be open to current years 8 to 12 (year 11 students need to be sure they will be staying at St Ivo for sixth form).

Students Celebrate National Manufacturing Day at Domino Printing

As part of National Manufacturing Day on Thursday 25 September, our students were invited to spend a day at Domino Printing in Bar Hill, where they gained first-hand insight into the world of modern manufacturing.

The day began with an engaging presentation from Domino’s Head of Manufacturing, who highlighted the wide-reaching role of the industry and the exciting career opportunities it offers. Students were then given an exclusive tour of the company’s state-of-the-art production facility, followed by a live product demonstration delivered by graduate electronic engineers.

The experience continued with a visit to Domino’s impressive warehouse and distribution centre, where students saw how products are carefully managed and delivered around the world. The day concluded with a session led by Domino’s HR team, who shared valuable advice on how to make CVs stand out and effectively showcase skills to future employers.

Our students left the day inspired and with a much clearer understanding of the diverse career paths within manufacturing. We are grateful to Domino Printing for opening their doors and providing such a memorable and informative experience.
