Parent Survey
This week you would have received It is that time of year again when we invite you to take part in our Parent Survey. This survey is one of the most valuable tools we have for understanding what we are doing well and where we can continue to improve. You would have received an email regarding the parent survey link – you will notice that the survey is a different platform this time. Complete parent survey here.
Notification of appointments
Wherever possible, we ask that parents/ carers arrange medical, dental and other appointments outside school time. However, we do recognise that this is not always possible. We do ask that you kindly provide as much notice of appointments as you can, please aim to notify us at least a week before the appointment.
NEW! Homework and Revision page
To make it easier for students and parents we have created a hub for homework and revision resources that can be found under ‘our approach > Curriculum > Homework and Revision’. This will replace the KS3 revision and KS4 revision pages. Throughout the term knowledge organisers and additional resources will be uploaded. Here you will also find the links to homework platforms such as Sparx.
Christmas Jumper Day!
On the 11th December there will be an opportunity to wear a Christmas/Celebration jumper. The sillier and brighter, the better! This must be worn with full school uniform under your blazer.
Post-16 Applications
Internal MyChoice16 Deadline – 18th December
Each post-16 provider has its own application deadline. To ensure no student misses their chosen provider’s cut-off date, we have set an internal deadline of 18th December for all MyChoice16 applications.
This gives students enough time to receive support with completing and submitting their forms.
Yr11 Application Drop-ins:
- Lunchtimes, Room S15 – every Tuesday & Wednesday
- 1:1 Careers Advice: Book an appointment via the Careers Office
Students are strongly encouraged to attend the MyChoice16 drop-in sessions at lunchtime for tailored application support from our Careers Lead, Mrs Parks.
Dreamdrops Visit
Our Student Council welcomed Christine, Chairman of Dreamdrops, who visited to share her gratitude for the funds our students have raised and to show exactly how their contributions will make a difference. During the visit, students asked thoughtful and insightful questions about how the money will be used, how it will support SEND students across Huntingdon, and even whether they could volunteer to help the charity further.
Many students said they were moved by what they learned and hadn’t realised just how much Dreamdrops does for the local community. We are incredibly proud of our students for choosing such an inspiring charity to support.

Year 11 Mock Exam Results
Congratulations to our Year 11 students who received their mock exam results in true exam-day style — sealed in a brown envelope. We aim to mirror the conditions of the real exams and results process as closely as possible so that students feel fully prepared and confident when the time comes.
Students will be able to find revision resources on the Homework and Revision Page.
