General News
Hello Yellow for Young Minds
We celebrated Hello Yellow today (10th October) in support of Young Minds for World Mental Health Day. Our students and staff made the most of their opportunity to be bright and yellow for the day! We thank our site team for turning the school yellow with bunting indoors and outdoors throughout the school!

Post-16 Provider Event
We hosted our Post-16 Provider event yesterday and we saw our sixth form common room FULL of our year 11 cohort from 3pm. We also welcomed parents from 4pm and the event was a success – attending parents commented on the ease of seeing all the providers in one room before making the decision to visit each college or sixth form separately. If you have any questions regarding post-16 options or carers please contact Helen.parks@astreastivo.org.

Arts and Crafts Giveaway Competition – We need your help!
“This autumn, schools across Cambridgeshire are set to benefit from a vibrant initiative that blends community spirit with creative opportunity. Launching on 29th September, a 10-week token collection campaign will give local schools the chance to win a share of £10,000 worth of arts and crafts equipment.
The campaign invites teachers, families, and the local community to collect tokens printed in each edition for their school. With a grand prize of £750 and a second prize of £350, the stakes are high — but the rewards are even greater.
Even schools that don’t take home the top prizes won’t go empty-handed. Any school collecting over 1,000 tokens will be entered into a draw to receive one of seventy £100 prizes, ensuring that creativity flourishes across the region.”
Please collect your tokens and return to us by the 19th December for us to be entered. – Below is what you are looking for.
